A Premier Destination for Law Enforcement Training in Colorado

Attending the FLATROCK Regional Training Police Academy means you’ll receive 22 weeks of full-time, hands-on, intensive police training. The program is designed to prepare an individual to enter the field of law enforcement as a recruit. These academies are conducted with instructors and staff who are passionate and experienced.

Each academy class varies in size based on enrollment. We can accommodate larger classes than most other academies, and still provide proper education while building confidence in a recruit.

Empowering Recruits to Succeed in Law Enforcement

The FLATROCK Regional Training Center offers all the law enforcement-style venues needed to provide recruits with the best possible start to their careers. Throughout the academy, recruits are continually tested on their retention of the knowledge and skills taught. Classroom and skills instruction are designed to provide recruits (even those with no prior law enforcement experience) with a strong foundation. Training is delivered in a way that is easy to understand, with enough repetition to build both knowledge and confidence.

We pride ourselves on the success of our recruits. Our instructors work to ensure that when a recruit leaves our academy, they are fully prepared to take the next step in their law enforcement career. Our program is challenging, but achievable.
